When should I send a birthday floral card to arrive on time ?
Ideally, you want you birthday floralcard to arrive on the big day itself, assuming that you know your recipient won’t be away at the time. It’s OK for your card to arrive couple of days early, and it’s usually better to be early than late. Allow a couple of days for delivery, so we suggest you set your delivery date for one day prior to his or her birthday itself.
When is it appropriate to send belated birthday greetings?
Sometimes, we all forget, even if the person in question is important to us. If you miss a birthday by more than a couple of days, a belated birthday message can be best.
What should I write in a belated birthday message?
You will need to apologise for your lateness, but it’s best to avoid lengthy explanations and excuses. The card is about their birthday, and so your message should be too. If they have a good sense of humour you can try to make a joke out of it. For example : ‘Am I late for this year, or early for the next one?’ Otherwise a sincere apology and something along the lines of ‘I hope you had a great time’ will suffice.
How late is too late to send a belated birthday card?
More than a month overdue, and the lateness of a birthday greeting becomes much more noticeable. In this case, if you still want to acknowledge a birthday, it might be more appropriate to send a more general greetings card, to show you are thinking of them, and enquiring about how they are. Add in something like ‘I hope you had good birthday back in xxxx too’
Who should I send a birthday floral card to?

That very much depends on their line of work. If they work in healthcare or with food for example, flowers in the workplace may not be welcomed. Int his case you might be better sending to their home address. You should also consider how well your recipient gets on with their co-workers and colleagues, and whether they would be happy to receive flowers in-front of their co-workers. Unless you are certain they will be welcomed at work, a home address is usually a better option.
What should I write in my personal floralcard birthday message?
Sometimes, just a simple ‘happy birthday’ isn’t enough. For the special people in your life, try to make the message more personal, perhaps thanking them for everything they do for you, or mentioning something you are looking forward to doing together in the year ahead, or have done in the year past. A joke or a humorous message ‘ we’ll still be dancing together at 90’ is a thoughtful touch.
